Engine shudder.
1.9dci with an engine shudder, last a second or so. Does it when cold. Start it up in morning you get quite a violent kick when it starts, will drive it to first junction (about 5 houses in length) stop just as revs reach idle 1000rpm you get this quite harsh shudder like it's just catches itself be...

Re: alloy wheel colour code
Try this, cost me a fiver from my local hardware store called Stermat. It's a spray tin from a company called motip, which is on the can, also says autolack, acryl. Paint code is 51081. Not used it yet but the lid colour is very close to wheel colour, closest I have found so far, we will see when it...

Re: Renault Megane III Drive shaft
Try this site great for part numbers. http://Www.catcar.info/en/ Doesn't work off reg number but you will need your model type and in some cases fabrication number. Model type = look at oval plate top line left mine is a cc so it's a EZ1S you will need this model type. Fabrication number now can't f...

Have you thought about starter solenoid as you are manually making the connection with a spanner when the solenoid should be.

Re: alloy wheel colour code
Good luck on that, I've got the silver grey GT line wheels been looking for 12 months now, no chance, seems Renault do not have paint codes for wheels, Wheel Smart did a colour match, Mmmm not good at all once finished. you just can't get the shade right once dry. you may end up painting two on the ...

Megane Radio, CD possible issue.
Can anyone help? My Megane radio, when you put a cd in, on the tomtom screen is shows "track 1" you can then move tracks on the steering wheel stalk, but if you press the "T" button on the radio you then get track names shown on the tomtom screen, but then you can no longer move ...

Re: How is the world of megane cc treating you guys?
Sold my mk2 1.9 diesel two years back and bought a mk3 1.9 diesel GT Line it's a better car in so much as less turbo lag and lots of low down pull, handles well on OE suspension and seats support you better down side is no longer a Karman roof but webasto instead (same maker as Eos) you can see the ...

Re: Wife's 56 plate megane convertible clutch pedal
Could be a couple of things. I had this issue on my Mk2 CC most people I mentioned it to wanted the box out for the slave cylinder, my renault tech said no, instead he replaced the master cylinder top end of clutch pedal and all sorted, quite easy to do i believe but a real pig to bleed as it's upsi...

Re: Roof reset
The process you are asking about is in the handbook but if I remember rightly you have to open the boot to manually disengage the locks so not much help there I have never had a boot issue in the 8 years of owning a cc mk2 or the now 2 years with the mark 3 so not sure how you would get in as you sa...

Re: Roof reset
Well there is your problem. Find out why your boot won't open and fix it and hey presto the roof will work again at a guess. Whilst that boot isn't working there is no chance the roof will come off, it must be registering as shut as mine would not start with the boot open. Might even be something as...

Re: 06 megane cc roof
Is the roof blind sitting in its mounts properly could also be the micro switch in the blind mount, the mounts are the two plastic "hooks" the blind fits into which allows you to open the roof.

Re: Megane CC boot lid
Where the rear number plate is, just above you have the number plate lamps in the middle of them is a rubber covered button (oblong and black rubber) press it it's a micro switch and electrically pops the latch, if I remember rightly the button on the card just unlocks it but doesn't pop it, if it d...
