you need to pull the radio out for the serial number on the side of the unit if you have not got the service and radio books as it should be on the cover of the radio book on a sticker..if not..all is not lost.. pull the radio out with radio keys and get the serial number.. then check the ICE sectio...

nd make sure the bulbs are in the correct way too..
when the muppets at Halfords changed my bulbs they put them in upside down... so the beam was hardly toucjing the road...
rotate them 180 deg and see if it helps..

my window operated similarily and the garage put it down to the window controle module.. they cleaned it up, re earthed it and sorted the connections and it all works fine now

well the only problem so far has been the windows.. luckily it wasnt the regulators but the control modules broke, luckily only a £100 fix for 2 windows as they managed to clean them up and re earth them too I do have a third party warranty for peace of mind which covers pretty much everything on th...

Yeah the regulators are a well known problem and also fully advertised on here in various threads. Renalt pay 75% of the cost leaving the customer around £100 to pay per window. This is for cars up to 7 years old.

I used to have a similar problem with a different radio and it sounds as though it's aerial related for sure. At a guess I would say it may be the aerial connection block of the radio that is at fault and may well be the culprit.

K&N as a first choice...
but there are others out there..itg,green performance etc..
I've got a k&n in...and to be honest its not particularly noticeable so dont expect any major gains..it did however smooth out a couple of flat spots
