Re: Megane 1.5dci turbo does not kick in and max speed 60mph

Hopefully yours is of the type that is removed by unscrewing 3 bolts (they can be a bit a of a struggle to get out). Also check all the PCV hoses for a jelly like deposit, and inspect ...

Megane 1.5dci turbo does not kick in and max speed 60mph

Today: The turbo has stopped kicking in at all (also normally I would have black smoke from the turbo nothing at all now (as she isnt there..)) She is struggling to get upto 55/60mph and even that ...

Possible to fit Climate Control
With regards to Climate Control, I have aircon and wondered what would need to be changed to included climate control (the control box and the center facial are obvious) but wondered if anything else? If it can even be done? (oh and a side thought can anyone recommend good tyres at a cheap cost (not...

Re: Eddie's Megane Picture thread :)
I notice the screen in the roof (assume that is what it is) and want to mount a tablet in my car and wondered how you moulded it in there? Space to fit it in? and any other details?
Thanks
Ben

It has passed the test and it has been fine disengaging recently... so bleeding is the next step or monitor it? lol

Re: Megane 1.5dCi Sticking in 1st gear
Have you checked/changed the gear box oil recently? Also - is it difficult to get out of first, or difficult to get into second (if you follow my drift)? One other thought - it might be that the clutch is not fully disengaging which could be a simple matter of bleeding the hydraulic circuit (or cha...

Megane 1.5dCi Sticking in 1st gear
My Megane has started sticking in first gear about 50% of the time. It needs a couple of tries and more force to change too 2nd gear... I am dreading this is a new gear box and wondering whether to take out AA/RAC Breakdown and Repair Bill assistance cover if it is lightly to be a big repair and tha...

Re: Rear brake discs,
As the rears have the bearings in I would reccomend getting disks with the bearings already pressed in, nightmare trying to press the old ones in and chances are they'll nee replacing before the disks wear out. So IMO your bet doing both at the same time(getting disks with them already in) If this ...
