Re: Starting problem please help

hello this does indeed sound like a throttle body that needs cleaning- on this engine they can get gunked up very quickly. does it only die when the car has been running and switched off and then restarted while still warm- or all the time? its worth having done, its cheap and makes the car run much...

Re: Mark III Megane problems

its a megane....

there will always be something not quite right with it!!

Re: 05 Renault Megane II 1.4 16V Shakey Idle.

i have the same engine and the same occasional shaking- (or more like a gentle rocking) this issue has been mentioned on here before- i think the consensus was that its a quirk with this engine and nothing to worry about. i have had everything done in the past 2 years to improve the running inclusin...

Re: rattling dash

spray into the gaps surrounding it..(you dont need to remove it) with silicone spray-

i had the exact same rattle...now my car feels as solid as my partners new A3!!!

cut out the dealers and try this first for about 2.99

Re: Dash rattle when cold or just over idle!!!

have to back alex up on this one-

all rattles in my car eliminated with halfords silicone spray- my dash sounds more solid now than my friends 2008 R26 megane!!!

try spraying this in suspected areas/casings first....

Re: air intake sensor

thanks

what i do know is that for a £20 part its made the biggest difference out of all the things ive attempted in the past!!!!!

inc throttle body cleaning and TDC sensors.

the car is completely transformed!!!!

amazing to feel how the car was always designed to run.

i love it again!
