Re: Fastest you've driven thread?

Opel Astra F C18XE+++ - i don't know, the speedo is only to 220km/h (140mph  ) One car that I got off the clock, apart from my Mini Clubman, was my sister's 1.4 E reg Fiesta. Speedo only went to 110 mph and I had it well past that. Was actually chasing a 911 Turbo at the time, but wasn't havin...

Biased

A night or two back I was surfing the interweb looking for Renault stuff. In the search results was a result of a VW forum for the R32 v Mgane 225. This stirred my interest, so me thinks that I ought to take a peek. Some dude had an R32 and on the way home he had some fun with a guy in a Megane 225 ...

RAC and a Citroen

T'other day I was out in my car when I saw an RAC van at the rescue of a 14 plate Citroen. I said to my missus, they should have bought a Renault.

Just out of curiosity, has anybody else seen, or had to call out a recovery for a new vehicle?

Nissan and Toyota aren't my cup of tea either. Never been a fan of Jap cars, although I did have a Honda Prelude for a brief spell.

Re: Just a coincidence?

I did reply to a thread that JackVykios started, in which he asked how did the Megane get it's name.

I doubt that the French realised that the anagram was possible.

I wouldn't say that's silly. It was strange at first, I will admit, but I am used to it now. Having the clocks in the centre of the dash isn't anything new. Look at all the Minis out there. Granted they aren't electronic like the Scenic.

Have you tried ebay or amazon? I have seen Renault owner handbooks for sale on both.

I do like my Scenic Dynamique Tom Tom. Prefer it an s-max. I only have the standard version, not the Grand Scenic, as it suits me. Did you consider a Scenic? If so, what put you off?

Megane media

Is there anybody on here that collects anything Megane II related, such as brochures, road tests etc? I have many brochures for the Megane II. Also I have road tests, adverts, press releases, post cards etc. I have items for the UK market as well as other car markets, including Asia. I also collect ...

Overfilling the oil

A true story about overfilling with oil. One Sunday I was at home on my day off when I received a knock on my door. My neighbour had a Clio with the DIET engine. He had checked the oil level and the oil was not on the dipstick. So he goes top the local shop, buys 5 litres of thin oil and then tips t...

Re: Site Stickers

Are the stickers for the inside or outside? If inside, are they static cling, so they can be removed and put in another vehicle?
