Re: Won't stay running until warm, help!
I would be much more inclined to think your dtc's are red herrings the oxy sensors on your vehicle has a 4 terminal plug 2 white heater wires 1 must have a 12v feed at key on the other 1 goes back to the ecu the other 2 wires 1 grey signal wire to the ecu & 1black earth wire. I would get the thr...

Re: New clutch starting issue
When you first turn the start key or push button on your car your fuel pump runs for a few seconds to prime the system to aid easier starting then it stops pumping but when engine is running the ecu switches the fuel on again (engine running) Your car is only running that few seconds using the small...

Re: Cause of Misfire?
Owing to the high energy coils fitted to these Renaults it's imperative that the proper recommended spark plugs are fitted. Do not lightly dismiss the the the wiring from coil 1 & coil 2 straight through to the ecu corresponding pin no's. Can you post up your engine code starts with k4m ??? what...

Re: Cause of Misfire?
Misfiring covers a multitude of problems. Imbalance between cylinders. Sticking valves. Wiring from no 1 coil to no 4 straight through to correstp0nding ecu pin no's. the same check at coil 2 to coil 3 to corresponding ecu pin no's. A manifold vacuum test will tell you a lot. What I would recommend ...

The 64 dollar question is how does your car start when it reaches running temperature. the hand primer pump on these Renaults do not go hard when the system is primed.

Re: Scenic won't start!
1 of the things you do not do when a vehicle is a non starter is starting to throw bits at it 70% of faults on these are down to wiring problems not components. If the fuel pressure regulator which sits on the rear of the high pressure pump is not being driven by the ecu then you do not have any rai...

Re: 2003 megane 1.4 check injection,fault code p0638 strange
The fault code your getting could be a red herring depending what it was read with po 638 throttle control motor with position sensor this code relates to a fault outside the unit it's self either not getting it's 2 power feeds via the ecu 1x12v feed via ecu pin no am3 to multi-plug marked terminal ...

Re: 52 plate megane not starting
Lets just say the best place (bar none) to check out a crankshaft sensor is at the ecm unit. The engine bay fusebox (upc) on these the fuel pump relay & the main engine control relay are incorporated into this fuse box between them they supply the 5 x 12v feeds to the ecm pin no's ??? Posting up...
