i have now noticed that its not so bad when the car is sitting on level ground, its when the car is facing up hill even a slight hill that it starts to jutter. strange.

maybe a plug not working as it should. shot in the dark but it does no harm getting new plugs in. its not that bad just a wee movement in the seat while sitting at the lights. i can live with it.

its not like its off a cylinder, it only happens at idle and only when car is warmed up.BrotherPlasterer wrote:Unplug the coils one by one, if it gets worse its not that one. If it stays the same you found the culprit.

well the new plugs didnt make any difference. guess i'll just have to live with it as its an old car and not worth putting money into. there's just to many sensors and computerised components on cars these days.

hi all. ive just got a 2005 megane 1.4 16v. i took it for a quick test drive and everything seemed fine so i bought it. problem is after driving for a while [engine warm] you can feel the engine jutter when stopped at traffic lights ect. i have ordered a new set of plugs to see if that will help. af...
