It's built into the fuel tank and you can't change it,should last the lifetime of the car.

There is no need to remove the wishbones to replace the inner track rod ends,you should be able to replace each side in around 30 mins and then have the tracking checked

i bought a lock nut removal socket from Halfrauds for about £17. Once you have removed the nut it is then useless and you would have to replace the full set of locking nuts!

have replaced two balljoints without removing the arm. knocked the old joints out with a bolster and bfh and pressed the new ones in with a 4 inch vice and socket ,job done in less than an hour!

I would agree with yhe last post,I have to replace my osr caliper and bought a second hand unit which i have cleaned up,the bleed nipple was seized solid and i spent a good twenty minutes working it back and forwards with a 9mm socket and plenty of penetrating fluid,defo take your time but be prepar...

The 1.6vvt engine is petrol and won't have an egr valve which is only found on diesels!

Replaced dogbone engine mount and two complete driveshafts this morning in less than three hours just as the heavens opened. Hardest part of the job was removing the engine undertray! fill in the bit between the sensor and the bit that comes into contact with the windscreen,the guys that refitted my screen used the wrong gell which was full of air bubbles and therefore caused the problems

i had the same problem with my auto lights and auto wipers after a windscreen replacement,remove the sensor behind the rear view mirror and fill the sensor with KY jelly (buy it from ebay) there was no way i was buying that from the chemists.That was six months ago and it is still working..

probably better to stop the car from starting before it gets stolen,imagine the car being driven at speed when you activate the fuel cut off switch,pretty dangerous for other road users i would imagine.
