Hi to all,

Recently purchased a Megane 1.5 dci and all seems well, but I know in due time I'll need to do things such as change oil, light bulbs etc.

Had a variety of cars in the past, and I'm reasonably ok with some work, such as changing alternators, radiators etc. But I don't have a garage, or access to a workshop, and to date never worked on a Renault let alone a Megane.

I know there are various posts for pretty much all kinds of repair but knowing that makes have their quirks; are there any general do's and dont's about servicing the car that would save me from a later visit to a garage because I messed it up.

Usual, use all the right stuff and do oil and filter more regular than once a year.

I haven't owned one for some years now so others may have more specific stipulations and advice and, to that end I'd advise you ask again in the 'problems / questions forum
