Looking....Rubbish pics added 7/2/08.
Morning all....Couldn't sleep, so thought I'd get up and register on here!
I don't currently own a Megane, but hopefully that'll change in the next coupla weeks....I'm an old Renault fan really: I've an '83 Renault 11 GTL 3-Door (my daily driver), an '85 Renault 9 Broadway, a '97 Clio, and a '79 Renault 20TS 5-Speed on the way!
In the morning, I'm hoping to go and have a look at a gorgeous little black number (a '54 1.9 DCi Privilege 5-Door) to replace my '99 Rover 75 2.5 V6 Connoisseur SE Auto as my wife's daily/family transport....The Rover is gorgeous, but it's just TOOO thirsty for her daily 10-mile round trip to work every day, so it has to go
A Megane (or a Peugeot 406 Coupe, but I'm not allowed one of those! ) is probably the only car that I'd feel happy about replacing the Rover with, as I love the styling, and have always wanted one!
So watch this space....If the black one's no good, there are a few more I've got my eye on....Trouble is, the nice ones don't sit about on the forecourts for long!
Hope to speak You all soon.

Well....The deal is done!
The black one I'd planned to look at was far too high mileage bearing in mind I that I want to keep our next "family steed" for 5 years, so I decided to pay a visit to my local franchised dealer, on the offchance that they'd have summat I could afford.
They didn't really....But I bought one anyway!
You should see it....It's stunning....A '55 Dynamique 1.5 DCi 86 5-Door, in platinum silver, with factory option 17" alloys, and a piffling 25,000 miles on the clock....I'm very excited!

As requested....Some pics of my ol' Renners....
The Eleven....Paid £200 for it a year ago, it's given sterling service since, and recently sailed through it's M.O.T without needing so much as a bulb....Some say the Eleven is just a dull little car, mine's a rattly ol' crock, but I LOVE it!
My Nine....Literally drives like a new car (or will, once it's had it's new inlet manifold gasket fitted), yet strangely I prefer the Eleven! I'm going to give this little baby to my stepson as his first car, just as soon as it gets back from the garage.
The Twenty....I own it, yet I've never ACTUALLY seen it! Vendor is doing some work on it for me, which should see it up to vitually show standard (It's only done 24,000 miles!) by the time I get it....Bit of a waste really, as it's gonna be my daily driver!

Hello Baz and welcome along
Sorry I haven't welcomed you earlier *slaps himself*
Ahhh the memories, my dad had a 20TS in that gold colour, I can even remember the reg, RFR 962T. Then he got a 30TS then he started on Volvos and then, when he finally lost it, he went and got a Ford Scorpio

That's a fair old collection of older Renaults you've got!
I used to work in a garage when I was younger and the runabout was a Renault 11 Turbo!
