Don't expect more bass from the E1396 than from the Q131C.
In fact, better option could be the E1376 (2-way instead of 3-way) than E1396 as they are a little bit more expensive.

Changing the rear speakers in't that easy, it's a lot of work, especially when you have a 3 doors but it can be done yourself, there should be a manual somewhere on the forum with pics.

I have found the removal on the the site and it doesn't look too difficult,
Just a bit of a pain and time consuming.

Thanks for the heads up on the speakers, i'll probably look into doing them next week.

After the music has been sorted i'll be asking about some new alloys!

Thanks guys.

Hey from Portugal!

This is my first post and, as you, i think my standart speakers are bad...

I went to a store and bought MTX THX502 to replace front speakers and i was very dissapointed! The bass comming from original speakers was better then MTX... And the speakers wont fit!

I returned them and seached internet and found this forum.

For the owners of Pioneer TS - Q131C: Does the upgrade also brings more basse response or just sound quality?

Thank you!

The Pioneers improve the sound quality alot with the standard head unit. But the bass isn't really there unless you've got it turned up loud. I installed a sub to help. There arn't really any other options to be honest.

Sorry for opening an old topic. But does anyone know, where to get the Cabasse Update List HU (I thought I'd go ask to dealers, but wanted to ask here first). The top one in the picture.
I currently own a basic Update List, and I was thinking of updating it to more power (if I am not mistaken the Cabasse unit has 4x45W and basic Update List has 4x15W).
