Right I've got a 2003 1.9dci 120 and i need to make it handle like a proper car lol
Looking at new suspension all round, power flex bushes for ARB / wishbone bushes / engine mounts
What I really want to know is will the struts and springs from an r26 for straight onto mine, are there any major differences between the strut or mountings themselves?
Hope they are a straight fit tbh also aim to get the ARB from an r26 and fit too if it will fit
Suspension question

Re: Suspension question
Right the suspension turned up this morning so could be an interesting weekend got a new top mount here to make sure they are a straight fit fingers crossed.
Does anyone know if there are proper dimension drawings of the r26 shocks/springs and of the standard dci shocks available somewhere?

Re: Suspension question
I had one of the standard shocks off at the weekend and it looks good.
Looks as though the r26 shocks have a very slightly bigger diameter but it looks as though it will still fit well in the hub. Only other difference is the drop link tabs are at an angle rather than straight, can't see it being an issue really

Re: Suspension question
As a follow up, (I forgot to post this a long time ago lol) the r26 shocks are very slightly bigger diameter and do not fit in standard 1.9dci hubs.
The r26 springs will fit on the standard 1.9dci shocks though which is what I'm currently using, although I can't help but feel that it's would probably just be better with some bilstein shocks and eibach springs.
