its a 1.9 dci 130bhp. Im just finding it far to sluggish at the moment. want it to be a bit more nippy

If you don't mind me asking what car did you have before your 1.9 130 to find it sluggish something quicker i am guessing?

lol, yeah its great, saves me soooo much money over the alfa, the alfa was fun coz you could fly round at really high revs but tbh generally racing off from lights etc i find the 1.5 faster, and mid range is brill too, only down side is on the motor way mpg suffers over 90mph... but normally only want to be going 75/80 so thats fine...

i wondered if the past owner had perhaps had it re-mapped and not said anything?

I just had a 1.2 clio before. Quick as anything off the line but find my megane slow to start. I was amazed by its speed when I first got it but think i've just got use you it now.

I got it from the Evens Halshaw renault dealership. I assumed they would have serviced it before selling it on but within the first week of me having it the soot filter needed to be regenerated and the egr valve needed cleaning so not sure if they done a service on it or not. It says on the onboard computer it needs to be serviced in 6000 miles and ive done 3000 so must need a service every 9000 miles maybe. Ill tell you one thing tho, Id never go back to Evans Halshaw.
