Looking to buy a Renault sport 225

Hi guys and girls, I'm looking to buy a Renault megane Renault sport 225 (the one with the big bum) and was just wondering if there was any common faults or pit falls to look out for when buying one? I previously had a Peugeot 207 gti which was a lovely little pocket rocket but was plagued with trouble from day one and I am a bit reluctant to buy French again but I do have a keen eye for the Renault having previously owned a mark 1 renault megane as my first car and loved it to bits!

Hi,
Best advice I can give you is to try the megane sport forum.. Aren't many sport owners on here... Common problems with all meganes tho would be water ingress... Check all the footwells boot and door pockets.. Other than that I dnno. I'm lucky and mines been fine!
