Megane cc boot space (roof down)

How much space is there in the boot of a cc with the blind in place for the folding roof? Can I fit 2 soft bags for a weekend away? Do the rear seats fold?

Hi. The Rear Seats do not fold down. Cannot give you size of space but its about third of the Boot space. Only problem is putting bags in/out with Roof down, the gap between Boot Lip and part of the Roof is small. Put Bags in with Roof up and then lower the Roof. There is some space under the Floor for small items.

You can lay small Bags between the Two Roof sections when it is down but remember to remove them before putting the Roof up!

The wife and I went away for a weekend recently and drove to the hotel with the lid down. We had a good size individual rigid suitcase and a couple of other bits and bobs in the boot and still had room to spare. I would say if you are looking at getting luggage then buy soft bags as the suitcase was slightly too big to nestle in the bottom recess so we could have packed even more in if the case had been more flexible.
The only thing that didn't fit in was her mahoosive hat box.

Boot is ok with roof down , if you don't have the spare wheel option you can get a medium case in the recess area in the boot. It's not easy to put in or take out with the roof folded but if you load it before you fold the roof it's ok
