Oil for my 225

Postby brettred225 » Wed Oct 31, 2007 2:19 pm

Hi Guys

My 225 PH1 Cup is telling me to top up for the 1st time since i have had my car.
Now I would like to know which is the most recommended oil to buy without breaking the bank? And also if I should change all the oil or is it ok just to top up and mix the current oil in the car?

My car is registered No5 2005 and had its last service 6500miles ago.

Thanks.
Brett

If you've not already got some oil sorted you need a 0W40 or 5W40 fully synthetic oil that meets the ACEA A3 standard.

Remember you've got a high performance car there so don't put crap in it!
Castrol, Mobil, Millers, Comma, Valvoline all produce excellent oils that are readily available from your local motor factors.

Oilman will be able to recommend you a specific lubricant, just pm him or contact him at https://www.opieoils.co.uk
Make improvements, not excuses!
