1.9dCi Megane CC 2006:
Last night on my regular trip home, I stopped at a T-junction. On pulling away, car wouldn't go over 2000rpm (still in first gear). In the time it took me to think "what the f**k?", it all went back to normal and has been ever since! Only other thing I've noticed is that occassionally (very), I get the feeling of a slight lack of power under 2000-2200 rpm ; it performs ok above this speed and is cleared by switching off and restarting. I usually carry on when it does this but have noticed a slight smell of burning rubber after switching off. Needless to say, on restarting everything is back to normal.Garage (not main dealer) can't replicate this and apparently no fault codes are recorded.
Any one got any thoughts?
