loss of power 1.9 diesel

hi folks , having lots of problems with my 53 plate diesel megane at the mo and getting really sick of it , goes into the dealers tommorrow for a new starter , went to drive it today and there is no power below 2 thousand revs , the clutch isnt slipping and there are no funny noises coming from it , above 2 thousand revs it pulls like a train on steroids , anyone got any clues as ive just about had enough of it,,., cheers from a wee not so happy bunny

Have them check the oil pressure is 1 bar idle and up to 3 bar while driving. You may have blocked pipes to and from the turbo, or some other issue that is preventing the turbo from spooling up (blocked filters, split hoses, actuator stuck). The EGR is a staple part of that car's maintenance. Heed Eddie's advice.

needs a starter motor and it has taken some teeth off the ring gear as well , needs heater plugs and something done with the injection system as it dosn,t pull below 1800 revs after that tho it pulls like a steam train , also has the usual leccy window probs
