2006 Megane Help

Postby WeeRabMc » Fri Jan 20, 2017 3:24 pm

Hi Everyone,
Really hope someone can help me. I have searched pics and forums all day and getting nowhere. My car is a 2006 Renault Megane 1.6 16v.

I accidently touched battery negative when undoing a bolt that holds some wires, the bolt is at the front of the relay box, i was using a metal wrench, it sparked and now the car is dead :(. Only thing that seams to work is the Central locking. I know I should have removed battery and am kicking myself now.

Any help or if anyone can point me in the right direction I really would appreciate it.

hope I am allowed to add links. This is a couple of photos I have just taken and uploaded to my drive. It's the bolt in centre of the pictures. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id= ... jBsNW5XWmM

Managed to get the fuse today and all up and running back to normal. Promise never to attempt DIY on my car again.lol

Leaving it in with a professional to check the other issue I was having with the blower heater. cuz I have no luck with anything I do with cars lol. Managed to kill my Partners Peugot last year. Kept telling her I was saving her the pain of having to drive the thing lol.

Thanks for help Noelo.

No problem. I got them at Renault. Just took the old ones out and called in with them. Wasn't expensive about £4 for the main one. Not sure of wattage on them. Could probably order them online through Renault if you don't have one near.
