Unidentified Part

When I first got our Megane it came with several extras, there was the obligatory sticky sweets in all the door pockets, some empty crisp packets wedged down the back seat, there was even a fair sprinkling of red glitter all over the carpets. However there is one part that I am as yet unable to identify, I am not even sure if it belongs to the Megane. If you recognise it, please tell me were to stick it....

And please don't tell me it's a fag lighter, that's there for scale.
