05 megane roof mechanism fault , boot only raising on one side

Hi I have a 2005 megane 2 convertible , when trying to put the roof down the boot is only raising on one side , (passenger side) it is trying to raise in the drivers side however it appears to be stuck, need to get the roof down as passenger side window has stopped working and is stuck halfway between open and closed. Any help on what the problem with the roof could be would be great , I'm assuming it may be the latch that is on the side near the hydraulics but not 100% . Thanks
