vibration on gas pedal...

Postby LostLover » Sat Jul 29, 2017 5:41 pm

Hi guys,

I have a vibration on gas pedal on my car.

In moving, when I push gas pedal, the vibration felt on that,

but when car is stop and not moving(in D or N or P), there is not any vibration on that,

and vibration will be when push pedal on moving the car...

this vibration there is in different speeds(not just on special speed)...

Has anybody else had a similar problem?

What is the reasons of this vibration on gas pedal?

Thanks.

No any idea?

This vibration is very high when engine RPM is higher,
(When the gear wants to be replaced and RPM is high, vibration on gas pedal is more.
and after the change gear(for example from "2 to 3" or "3 to 4"),
vibration will be lower but still exist.

And this vibration felt on brake pedal too.
on brake pedal vibration felt just when RPM is high, and after RPM will be lower, vibration on Brake Pedal Disappears.

Before I have vibration on steering wheel like that,
and I have checked engine mounts and gearbox mount and they were health Apparently.

However I have changed upper right engine mount with other good brand,
and after changed there is not any positive effect in vibration,
and there is vibration on steering wheel like before.
But now I have vibration on gas pedal and brake pedal too.

Do you have any idea about this problem?

Hi,
usually, with a manual gearbox, you can put into neutral at speed and see if the vibration goes away.
Yours being automatic makes it more difficult, but
as the vibration lowers with engine speed and not road speed, it must be engine or transmission related.
I'm not conversant with automatic, but l believe they still have a dual mass flywheel.
l think that could be the problem and an automatic specialist may be able to diagnose on a test drive.

Good luck
Bob.

Dear Bob,

One of my friends, Believes in all meganes, "Inner Tie Rod Joint" it gets corrupted very soon,
and this vibration is related on that.
He Believes this part have been Loose maybe and produce vibration to other parts.

What is your idea about that?
Thanks for your helping.

Hi,
l would have thought that you'd feel some play in the steering with that, but still maybe a possibility.
lt might pay you to have a cheap mot test (£30) and anything untoward like that should be picked up on.
Just a thought.
Bob.
