Air Con Problem

Hi I am having trouble with my air con, I drive a 2006 16,16 VVT privledge megane 2 it has climate control and air con.
I had it regassed but no joy I can get compressor to work by powering it separately with a indepentant power source but engine struggles at tick over,
Is it the Engine or interior multiplex unit with controls the air con, I see Engine multiplex,s on EBay but there are so many different models which is right for me...
Hopefully there should be a picture of mine...

I think the compressor won't kick in if

Where would I locate that please and is there a way of testing it.....

I have a leak in my system so air con doesn't work either. I think it's the high pressure pipe on mine which goes to the bulk head.

Anyway, supercool stop leak seems to be an option to find the leak yourself. I've never used it but you'll need a uv torch (couple of quid in eBay). If anyone has used it maybe they can suggest how effective it is.

Mine has not got a leak as I can get it blowing very very cold by running a wire direct to compressor but Engine gets lumpy at tickover due to lower revs....hope you sort your leak out...keep us informed
