Cruise control

Hello all new to the forum, I have a meg 57 plate 1.9dci. Just had some work done and I asked if they could find a problem with the C/C as it turns on but cannot set a speed same as in speed limit. They found no faults any one help please as I love the control used it a lot in my last car Laguna 1.9 dci dynamique.
