Hello, (I'm new here so I hope I post this correctly.)
I bought a Megane II yesterday, and the emergency key was just spinning in the barrel. Today I fixed that by dismantling the cylinder and installing it again. But the key only locks/unlocks the driver's door. Isn't it supposed to engage central locking?
Why I'm so interested in getting this to work is that my keycard buttons are very, very dodgy. I pretty much have to bend the card for the buttons to work...
Emergency key - central locking?

Re: Emergency key - central locking?
Not on mine. Only works in the passenger door. If you want to lock all the doors using central locking, hold and press the lock button on the dash for a few seconds.

Re: Emergency key - central locking?
Nope. The emergency key is purely mechanical.
It has no link to the central locking.
It is only there to get you back in even if the power is off.
