Front side lights not working

Ok .. 2012 Megane front side lights not working . Just had front bumper replaced & DAYTIME RUN LIGHTS have been removed to suit a 2nd hand used bumper .. Bulbs tested 100%.
Q) never noticed previously if side lights even worked as DRL were lighting ?
Checked sidelight bulks ok & wiring is linked to them etc ?
Getting worried removed DRL is linked to sidelights
Can someone comment or confirm .??
If so hope I can get a feed from fuse box under Bonnet & bring live to them ? Or get a spurt from rear side lights etc ??
Any help tips much appreciated as always
