Roof mechanism fault

Roof mechanism fault
It keeps telling m to consult roof hand book when i try to operate roof do i have to take it o the main dealer as i can imagine this is goin to be expensive?

Is the boot shut properly!
Is the blind in the boot pulled over and located in its lugs securly?
When you get he "consult Handbook" reminder it usually means the blind in the boot, it is a major fault I am sure it puts service light on as well, and I think it warns "Roof Fault"
