Looks really good now I see you've had her painted as well but what happend to the red leather surly you havnt get rid of it it would have looked nice against what looks like slate blue metallic I lke the satin silver screen surround even makes gold look good.
Nice one well done a real labour of love.

Painting? Well that is a long story.

I would have kept it but Red seats dont really go with blue in my opinion. Plus black is really hard to keep clean

I go with that... Had a few black cars look good on the day of cleaning then shows every mark
Red is another love the colour looks superb until its starts fading I battled with my escort rs turbo in wonderful Rosso red but what a battle, my wife's meg 1 coupe came in capsicum red but rear quarters and boot started going orange, no worries on with the buffer, result , nothing Renault lacquered over top so all I am buffing is lacquer the red paint faded under the lacquer, how irritating is that!
Hopefully her 307cc in red performs better its into its fourth year now and still deep red so looking good so far.
Apparently its all to do with pigments, cheapest one is black dearest one is red so therefore less red pigment is used which is why it fades quicker, I know this as our red carpet faded really bad and the carpet company sent an assessor out to it, he explained all this to us and advised best carpet to get is black they very rare fade black pigment is cheap so lots of it is used. He reckoned my wife's meg had an orange pigment added to increase the red but the red fades leaving the stronger orange colour still showing all down to the cost of red pigment, so there ya go a bit of useless information for you. I listened to this conversation for over an hour....... :( I bet he's wonderful at parties.
