Hi is anyone breaking a cc I'm after a drivers side rear window mechanism my motor has Burnt out and window is stuck open

Not but just bought a switch for folding mirrors for £10.00 from renbreakers in Ipswich. I would recommend giving them a call.

A long lasting temp fix is to remove mechanism seprate motor from cables gently push window up to top of regulator again slowly and gentle to make sure cables and cable wheel doesn't pop out of carrier ypu can use a drill bit and masking tape on either side to make a spindle once glass is up use two bolts with washers and nuts to secure glass they go through slots in reg.
Reassemble.
Glass is in place and solid. Mine was like this for 3 years at least and roof still works. But car is water tight and secure.

Hi got one off eBay £99 with £10 p&p to Spain so I'm happy I don't have to worry about being water tight as roof has been down for last 5 months but I'm back in uk (Scotland) end of October and was worried about leaving car at airport for 2 weeks with open window
