Bye Bye Megane :(
as some of you might know, from previous posts,we changed our Megane and got a Clio instead (reasons have been explained before-picked up the Clio today.)
very strange feeling it was, felt very upset but that's life driving away from the dealership and leaving your car behind, feels like you have left a part of you behind
In the 3 years ownership of the Megane, after reading all the horror stories, have to say our car was perfect, had one or two issues, but nothing major and all got fixed under warranty;considering it was a 1.6 petrol, never had the dephaser problem either.
Although, formally I am not a Megane owner now,but will stay on this forum as I have enjoyed reading it and brings back good memories.
The Clio is nice as well, just have to get used to it (will post a few photos later).
cheers.

It is a turbocharged petrol, isn't it? Since our hot discussion Megane III was announced, I must admit, you've got he best current Renault! I am looking forward to seeing its photographs.

Re: Bye Bye Megane :(
I'm sure you will enjoy driving your new Clio as much as the Megane, maybe more so? (a lot less dash rattles in my experience anyway)
I really enjoy driving the Wife's 1.5dCi Clio, even more since I've added a Diesel tuning module to it!
Drove my dad's Megane last weekend (did the annual oil and filter change) and it brought back memories of mine and how much I enjoyed the car despite it's faults.
Looking forward to the pics

Toosh,
no you don't need to go to specsavers,I think Renault uses the same dash on 3 and 5 doors,so,although it is a 3 door,it shows 5 (saving money building different dash for different models )

You misunderstood me, Navid, I am not very fond of Meg III and sincerely like the car in your photographs. It looks shiny all over including the tyres. Is it polished every day?

Looks nice Navid, great colour. I expect you'll miss the center arm rest but little else.

no the Clio's are still with normal keys, unless you add it as an option (if available) or buy one with higher spec, this was standard on our car.
Jonault, the center arm rest, was a great place to leave the ipod and keys, which as you said will be missed.also, there were loads of hidden places, for you to keep bit and pieces in Megane but not in Clio
