Delay in main beam dipping
Just realised that my main beam dips immediately when pulling the stalk unlike before where there was a dealy. The UCH was changed 2 weeks ago so could this have solved it?
EDIT: The poll is suppose to ask does your main beam dip immediately?
Is it possible to edit the poll?

my "flash" at someone lights (main beam) are ok,
but: (sorry copy n pasted direct from my other post)

When lights are on auto mode, if I move the stalk to the side lights position, it takes a while for them to come on! Always been like this, just regarded it as a feature. Now I think its a fault as why should it be like that anyway?

What I mean is when you have your main beam on at night and switch them back to dipped when there is an oncoming car and there is a delay of around .5s-1s.

I find the dipping irritating. When you are driving on main and pull the stalk towards you to dip, the lights stay on main until you let the stick go back again. i.e. there are two movements involved in turning the main beam off. Both our megs are like this and the clio before was the same too so I thought its just a Renault thing. Ado, are you saying yours dip as soon as you pull the stalk? (before you release it again?)
At the end of the day... ..it gets dark
I still have to realase it before it dips. The dealy is there after you release the stalk therfore blinding other road users. I seem to remember quite a few people complaining about this on here and parkers.

Yes mine are just the same. I thought it was a characteristic of multiplex wiring and has never bothered me
It will be interesting to see if my new one is the same
