Re: Megane II rattling noise ,dephaser pulley
i don't think it's the dephaser pulley either. i've had mine replaced twice and it still rattles on start up, and after doing a 700 mile journey over the weekend, it also stalls again now too. so that's £600 for nothing. question is, what the hell is it? someone suggested the throttle body on anothe...

Re: Problem!! No start up
the garage you have taken it to sound awful.. please post them in the dealers section so none of us have the displeasure of using them! it's stupid though.. they've obviously not put something back together right and so the car won't start... although, when i had my dephaser changed, it was a faulty...

Re: Garage & Dephaser --- HELP!!!!!!
surely you'd know if it were the dephaser because your engine sounds like a bag of bolts on start up, and an immediate stall... and then when you accerelate, you get the same noise.. your problem sounds similar to mine, with the flat spots on acceleration, and apparently it's nothing to do with the ...

Re: What is a dephaser pulley and what does it do??
i had mine changed at the start of september, and now my car has loss of power on acceleration... could it be to do with the dephaser? i had to have two fitted as the first one was faulty.

Change Oil Soon
my megane has just started flashing 'change oil soon' up, although i'm a bit confused. it had a service in january, where the oil was changed, and the oil now is still a nice brown colour, so i don't think there is anything wrong with it. it's only done like, 4 or 5k since januray anyway. does the c...

Flat Spots :(
i recently had the cambelt, the water pump, and the dephaser changed. actually, i had two dephasers fitted because the first one was faulty. almost every time i accelerate, the car seems to struggle to pick up speed, and then all of a sudden, it will find itself and zoom off. it's almost like it has...

Re: Getting Renault to pay for a Dephaser, out of Warranty..???
i had my dephaser replaced under warranty...
mines a 53 plate, done 52k... although i had already paid for it and they had fitted a faulty one...
so even the new ones can be faulty haha.

Re: Half a result - dephaser and window regulators
wow. i paid £400 for the dephaser pulley and waterpump to be changed. unfortunately i'd just had the cambelt done so they basically had to do the same job twice. however, the part was fault (the dephaser pulley) so i had to get the car towed to renault and pay for a courtesy car at my expense, becau...

XBOX is a pile of crap/
i've had 2 xboxes, both have broken at just under a year old. the first i took back to game and they replaced it there and then. they even gave me an elite version instead of the premium console i had, and gave me 20 quid back because of the price difference. however, now my elite has 2 flashing lig...
