Re: Snapped spring
Thanks once again, too be honest it handles well anyway as the gt suspension is 10mm lower than the standard megane, just curious as to if the springs would be better quality. sounds as much hastle as i thought it would be to change. Would love an r.s megane one day as i loved my r.s clio.

Snapped spring
This could be down to the state of the roads in this country. However, i recently had the top ring of the suspension spring snap or shear off. The garage said it could be down to a fracture that over time water has got into and has caused the sping to break. Just wondering if anyone else has had the...

Re: oil in intercooler
okay thankyou, hope all goes well for you. The car is back with us, the garage couldnt find anything wrong with the turbo, but have changed the air filter as they said this was clogged. They suggested this was causing the turbo to look for air and take it in from the oil breather system. we have don...

Re: bike carrier for megane 2003-2008
Just a very late update, as i forgot that i had post about this subject. I ended up buying the saris bones carrier. i have found it to be brilliant, once the initial setting up is complete, it can be fitted in minutes. The only awkward thing is if you have a full suspension y frame bike as i have, i...

Hello, i have a 2007 megane gt 150, covered approx 42000miles. The last four months have been a nightmare, new radiator, new suspension spring, 2 new headlight bulbs, belts needed changing during service, and 2 new alloy wheels due to a pothole. Hello everyone
Hello, been on the forum for a while, have found it pretty useful and scary (the problems page). I've owned a few renaults the last 9 years, 03 plate clio, 02 clio 172, 05 1.6 megane dynamique, and currently an 07 megane 2.0dci GT. Will try and get some pics up soon.

Before our vospers experiance, we used to and will continue to use this small, friendly family run dealership and workshop. We bought our previous megane here, and little problems within warranty were quickly sorted with no fuss. We have had servicing, m.o.ts, and the cambelt changed here, we have f...

The sales side of things have not been too bad, however the following problems have been very disappointing, some of which were promised in a bid to get us to purchase the car. 1.Only 1 keycar...
