Re: Check injection warning

Now that I have read the check glow plug forum I believe this is no real difference to changing a spark plug so I am able to give this a go. What I really want to know is do people think this is an EGR problem?? The last time the computer was put on it to diagnose the problem there was no fault logg...

Re: Bonnet won't open after pulling cable

Worked a treat.

the spring was stuck in the compressed position.

A screwdriver to pull it out and lots of grease.

Five or six releases later, it does as it should.

Bonnet won't open after pulling cable

Hi everyone, After pulling the bonnet cable in the foot well of the car the bonnetm will not spring to it's first stop point to allow me to get my fingers under it when pulling the release cable in the grill. Any ideas how to get this to the first position. The cable did make the release sound but I...

lights keep blowing

Bulbs keep blowing in both sides both head lights and sides, never had a problem with full beam. Talking about them blowing every one or two months. Any reason for this? Notice that on cold weather there is condensation in the inside bottom of the front light casing on both sides. Could this be a pr...

Changing Brake Pads

Hello everyone - long time no post. I went out to strip the brake pads and found the tool needed to remove the callipers was different than my previous Renault (got 57 plate Dynamique did have 54 plate). It doesn't look like a spanner but more of a funny key. Have they changed the tool to take off t...

Engine codes for parts

I am looking to purchase some parts from ebay rather than pay stealers prices.

The parts say they are for a K9k engine.

i cannot find my engine code even though I have hunted with a torch tonight.

Are all 1.5dci 57 plates sporttourers K9K engines?

Thanks.

What tyres do you wear?

What tyres are your meganes wearing now?

Just about needing to buy two new fronts and wondering if Kumhos are still the way to go. 16" tyres if my memory serves me correctly.

How are they doing?

Re: Clio Campus van 1.5dci shudders.

Tha latest: Renault have has the van 2 days and can't find anything. Typical! When they took it out on a test dirve with me in the passenger seat they really did drive the van hard. Braking at what I would call the last minute, and braking hard and then really revving and going up the gearbox violen...

bluetooth (TM) in car kits

I am thinking about buying a Bluetooth (TM) in car parrot (TM) kit. Are these kits just a plug and play kit for the Megane 2007 or do I need to cut wires? I see it as, whip out the radio connect everything to the back, hey presto. But I feel there is more involved. e.g. How does power get to it?Does...
