hi, i currently have a megane 1.5 dci and i want to install some HID lights but i dont know which ones to get and where i could install them so there not so visable (ballests) when the bonet is open. just looking for some advice on which ones because i know they do loads of different Watts and stuff...

Thanks for the replies, had the pads replaced as the garage said the discs are like new so they fitted new pads and now its fine. no shaking or ABS kicking in at wrong time . WINNER

Just got the car back from the MOT and it Failed :( the brake pads on the front are less than 1.5mm thick, would this cause it to shake? Also the place said it could be warped discs but how do i tell ? i have purchased pads and discs but i dont know if i should take the discs back or fit them togeth...

thats what i had thought. its in for an MOT tomorrow so we shall have to see what the outcome is

how much did it cost when you had it replaced?

maybe the motor has broken or you have broken the mech inside, i have a similar problem that my drivers side window will stop half way up the window i have to just use the first click on the button, but when its wet it goes straight up ?

no i was just thinking about changing the discs but how can i tell if they need to be changed?

just to let you all know i got my wheel bearing changed for £130 front right wheel bearing i also got other quotes from other garages and they were around the same area £125-£140

Hi i know i am probably not in the correct place but i am trying to see if any one on here has changed a front wheel bearing on the megane before? and how did they find it ? also another thing does anyone have like a guide or anything on how to carry out a service on the megane? just going to do it ...

hi i have a 1.5 dci 86 bhp, im guessing renault has just put a lower bhp mapping on it? if that was the case then would that mean my car would be able to be 106 bhp?

i would then guess that i would then be able to get 20- 30 bhp more then that making it around the 126- 136 area?

just been reading on the internet and apparently dettol surface cleaner is good to spray into your system to clean the matrix ????

has anyone done this before? where is the matrix located? what do i do?
