Most manuals including Haynes say they don't cover the CC or 2.0 petrol engines.
I have a 2.0 petrol CC.
Is there anything out there covering either that engine or CC specific maintenance?

Re: Back window stuck down
Had a mate who's a Renault expert fit the regulator rebuild kits (from eBay) and within 10 uses the rear drivers one has gone again.
Useless.

Re: Engine whine when up to temperature
Thought about testing all the above. Then thought I'd just hand it over to a RenaultSport mechanic. Turned put it was a tear in a tiny diaphragm.

Re: Back window stuck down
I just bought 2 rebuild kits (both my back windows went) and they were £20 each from eBay. I'll let you know if they're any good!

Engine whine when up to temperature
My 2ltr petrol Megane CC has developed an incredibly annoying whine when it gets up to temperature. When first started it's fine and makes no noise when driving at any speed until the engine warms up. Once warm the whine gets louder until it requires turning the stereo up to ignore. People on the st...

Re: Cheap Regulator Repairer Found
Both the rear windows in my cc stopped working recently but the motors are till ok. The regulator repair kits are on eBay for £20 each. Just had a pair delivered and will attempt a repair at the weekend with a mechanic mate of mine. The plan is to be able to do it myself next time they go.

Re: Megane cc RS .... the begining
Absolutely stunning work with the bumpers! I'm really tempted to do it myself now. A 2ltr petrol should look bad-ass and if I can get it looking half as good as you have I'll be well pleased.

Carminat dash display broken
Hi, I have the original carminat sat nav and 6 disk cd changer in my car and the head unit is fine (steering wheel controls work fine too). The problem is the display on the dash. It gets very pixelated and the screen can't be read. Sometimes it's rose than others but always pretty useless. Any idea...

Hi, new to Meganes
After 3 Lagunas I swapped my main car to a 3 series BMW. Was missing something about Renault though so I've invested in a Megane II as my second car. She's a 2004 2ltr petrol with folding hardtop, keyless entry, 6 disk changer, carminat sat nav, full leather interior, automatic lights and wipers, cr...
