These Renaults are very prone to maf sensors faults. Two of the most common limp mode faults on these Renaults ...

Re: Renault megane 2004 1.5dci will not start...

I would bet my bottom dollar your problem stems from the fuel pipe connectors a very common fault across a lot of vehicles to day a lot of times if a after market filter is fitted their stubs are a slightly smaller diameter causing the connector small o rings not to seal properly. The df114 fault code solenoid valve (circuit) which implies you have a circuit fault. This would need to be checked out wiring from this valve to the corresponding ecu pin nos Hth Regards Mickeybo

Re: Heavy/Stiff Clutch Pedal

Hyd clutches should be feather light at any time If theres any tightness this is most likely a faulty clutch cover awell known fault across a lot of vehicles. I would advise you to get a replacement clutch sooner rather than later. The pedal box which holds your brake & clutch wont be able to ta...

Re: Car wont start?

103 miles on the clock the life span of piezo injectors is approx. 95000 miles. A injector leak back test would be my first port of call. The black smoke you refer to can be caused by injectors dribbling/leaking you would need to get the injector spray pattern checked. Another very common fault on t...

Re: The Dephaser Pulley/Solenoid

The de-phaser pulley should have the inlet cam locked in the full retarded position at idle. These do not activate until approx1500 rpm As their soley controlled by the ecu. If I were checking this I would disconnect the 2 pin connector & put a noid light on it. The problem your encountering is ...
