Cool I will give that a try,
I think my keycard is knackered though because it looks like someone has tried to repair it before by soldering it and not a good repair either.

Yeah got to remove the plastics to fit the card reader and infra red receiver, I do have a back up plan if it don't work, someone's told me to keep the old key and if what I'm doing don't work take the signal sender disk out of old key and solder into the new keycard. I just think it's daylight robb...
