MY MISTAKE

It is possible that CLIP did not read the milage from the ECU of the older 2003 Megane but instead asked me to feed it in manually
(I tried again today in order to double check and that's what was happening)
That would explain why it matched the one on the ...

That is what I thought untill I checked my other 2003 Megane 1.5dci.

1) Megane Dci 80 clock registered milage = 123.025
2) Clip Diagnostic sheet registered Milage = 123.025

So what is going on here ?

If Renault was indeed storing Km in the ECU like all Citroen do, then why are my two cars ...

1) Megane Dci 106 hp 2007 clock registered milage = 102,517
2) Clip Diagnostic sheet registered Milage = 164,951

Someone said that French cars have their ECU records stored in Kilometres (Citroen)

It would almost seem correct (102.517 Km = 164.985 Miles) BUT ! !

It seems like the 106 BHP model of the K9K engine on Siemens injection does not require injector coding since they are not displayed on the usual page of the Clip software ..

A quick one :-)

Does anybody know what is the maximum boost pressure that I should read from my standard 106 Privilege ?

I cannot find this info on the net and I am reading what I think is an abnormal overboost.

Under load around 1.65 Bar (+ barometric of course) = 2.69 Bar inlet ...

Does not matter what car, if the rail fuel pressure isn’t correct it can be one of the following:

1) Pressure regulator/return flow faulty
2) High pressure stage fuel pump lazy
3) Leaking injector/s letting fuel escape into the return line
