Went to scrapyard, got a new motor, temic module and the required connector. Put it all back together, connecte...

Re: passenger window not working

Either the motor or Termic module (controls the motor). hi my passenger window is not working... i pressed the button on drivers side and the passenger side in question but still no luck... i cant hear the motor clicking either(which i can on the other 3 windows when the button is pressed) so does t...

Re: Making a spare key card Tutorial

I'm not sure. Though it's important to note that the kit included the software and USB Dongle that you'll need. In my opinion it's worth the price as you can make up to 4 keys per car. So after your initial investment, each key will only cost you around €20. Can you not make an ISO image of the cd ...

Re: ABS and Spanner warning light

A good ODB2 reader will tell you what sensor is faulty. Pray it is not the rear ones as it will likely be the mounting plate, which is a nightmare to replace. Front - not so bad i dont think.

Re: rear abs mount

I believe it to be 2mm distance (crazy !), from what i could tell by eye with the replacement mounts i used. I replaced my rear discs today and the abs sensor holder has perished, im thinking of gluing it, my question is how far does the abs sensor have to be from the abs ring on the disc. Do they h...

Re: rear abs mount

Yes unfortunately these DO NOT WORK, they are slightly larger than the original ones, designed solely for Megane MK 3 at the front. sucks.... i know. its such a frustrating problem. I have updated that topic with my solution to the problem, Which was secondhand mounts. https://www.meganeownersclub.c...

Re: Rough idle

You could try cleaning the throttle body, on my old clio with the same engine it had this problem. Basically the Throttle Flap getting stuck etc, gunked up by fume residue as such. Easy to clean, just need to remove the air inlet pipe and spray carb cleaner or wd40 down there, and wipe it well with ...

Re: Rear ABS Fault Caused by totally rotten ABS Mount plates

Well i said i would post an update when i got the problem sorted so here goes. I resorted in buying 2 secondhand ones, purchased from Cit-Ren, Poringland, Howe Pits/Norwich Rd, Norwich NR15 1HJ (in case anyone was wondering). Luckily i am good friends with one of the guys there, got each one for £25...

Re: Rear ABS Fault Caused by totally rotten ABS Mount plates

I wish turning them the other way would work ! Unfortunately by doing that the sensor would then face the wrong way, lol. I have given the company that provided me them some measurements though. I might even send one of the rotten holders to them, perhaps they will be able to re-manufacture them the...

Re: Rear ABS Fault Caused by totally rotten ABS Mount plates

Unfortunately, the rings have not worked, the central hole is around 4mm in circumference too big. We got around this by welding an old exhaust pipe into the middle, which then made it stay tight to the stub. Thought that would do it! NOPE! The next problem is the actual width and dimensions of the ...

Re: Rear ABS Fault Caused by totally rotten ABS Mount plates

For anyone who may be interested, here are 2 ABS rings that i have sourced from First Line Ltd. After messaging them about the problem, they agreed to send me 2 of the ABS Sensor retainer rings without the bearing parts: https://www.crsnorwich.co.uk/downloads/other/megane_rings.jpg Looks very promis...

Re: Rear ABS Fault Caused by totally rotten ABS Mount plates

Well, i have kind of found the solution everyone and this is quite unbelievable...... https://www.crsnorwich.co.uk/images/other/abs_sensor_clip.png Turns out the sensor mount is included in some Clio 3 front bearing kits on eBay. And the even more bizarre part about this, its a useless part for that...
