Re: Window motor burnt out!?
Apply power directly to the motor without the temic module. Two wires stuffed into 4 and 5 if memory serves of the connector should give you power. Just touch the two prongs, oh and watch burning your finger as it heats up fast.

Re: I hate electrical problems
There is a 30A fuse under the bonnet for the heated window and a 10A for the compressor clutch. The aircon could be a multitude of issues. I would have it regassed first to be honest. The window is probably a broken element or duff connection to it.

It's a high pressure port fitted on the lower pressure side. Your need an adapter about 7 quick on Ebay.

Re: Rear window stopped working
Yeah they can be temperamental to say the least. I would buy a new temic module I'm not sure swapping them round works. It never did for me. In addition to testing for power you can test pins 1&2 while operating the drivers side switch. They should go negative. I would also consider the possibil...

Re: Check door locks problem and fix
The doors are supposed to lock themselves over 5mph it's one of those safety features. Pressing and holding the lock button turns the feature off. The spanner symbol means a service is required and the check door locks message is telling you one of the door locks has a fault.

Indeed they are great to drive, that's why I bought mine. I would check the scuttle drain is clear of leaves. Otherwise water will enter the car when it goes back to raining everyday.

Re: What are included in the following packs?.....
Renault and electrics have never been a good combination. A quick flick through this forum will reveal windows that get stuck, usually when it rains. Windows and sunroofs that leak all the time. That is on ordinary hatchbacks, now add in the CC element. The diesels get the dreaded check injection fa...

Re: AC problem
2 bar or 29psi of static pressure is required for the pressure switch to activate. I would get it leak checked first from a reputable garage using nitrogen and a sniffer. My local does one for 45 quid. They will locate where the actual leak is coming from. Halfords, if your in this country do a free...

Blimey with that lot I would definitely walk away. The climate pack alone will keep your feet wet all winter.

Out of gas would be my first stop. Take it somewhere for a free pressure check. Halfords do one, or buy a gauge and adapter for 10 quid.

Re: 2003 Megane 2 subframe bolt does not stick
My understanding of this is there should be a captive nut at the other end. Other forums discuss putting a spanner on the other end to hold it still.

Good job. Did you disconnect each door in the end or just leave it.
