HID conversions are an MOT fail as of 2018.

Battery totally dead in car, probably. Undo passenger door with emergency key, pop bonnet, connect jump starter kit following instructions and start car. That would be my first guess.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the motor was handed. We managed to get the driver side window doing the same as yours but we reversed the bicycle cable arrangement by accident after watching a tube video and not realising it was the passenger door being done in the video.

Do you have the rear bench seat. I’m after the half behind the drivers side.

Thats a crazy price. The average quote I got for that job was £315 without the de-phaser which is about £100 for the actual part. If its the solenoid buy it yourself and fit it.

All resolved, I was being a plonker the issue was human error.

Sump plug left out until no oil was coming out.

So this is a weird one. I have done an oil change, before I started the oil level showed half way between max and min. I emptied it out and got about 2.7 litres of oil out. I measured in litre bottles to make sure. I put 3 litres in and checked the dipstick again. It shows as massively overfilled, l...

Sounds to me like the gearbox computer or connection is dead. Maybe moisture sneaked in there, if it was me I would be checking the connection for voltage if that checked out I would buy a second hand replacement on ebay. A quick look revealed some for about 20 quid. I’m not an expert mind nor do I ...

Can you pull any error codes from it?. They might give you a clue in which direction to head.

Following on from that can you unlock the car with the key card once you have locked it with the button?
