I have a 1.6 VVT (petrol) megane on a 03 plate and i about to do a service on it, i have the filters i`m just stumped on the oil. i know the recommended is 5w40. but i have a load of 10w40 castrol magnatec lying around. would this be suitable to use for this car?

i have checked the fuses in the glove box and they are all ok. tho could not work out which one would be for the lights i have got a dimmer comming off ebay to see if that does the trick, if not then i`m stumped

what fuse would it be, one in the glove box ir in engine bay? the clock works and so does the speedo, just the center dash and window buttons. if its not a fuse am i right in thinking the dimmer is faulty and causing the problem? as it no longer dims the speedo clocks the headlight adjuter works tho,

i`m using holts screenwash aswell. i use a strong mix and it has not froze once with temps -14. it works first time and helps deice screen aswell.

well brakes are red at the moment so red would be a good choice just dont want to make it look in your face so was thinking silver and i`ll be getting a pro to do it for me free of charge

if I change my oil 6000 miles later then I will be ok. As long as the oil won't damage the engine then I'm happy
