Re: Wrong size tyre put on by garage.....
It IS an MOT failure to have different sized tyres - just the tester obviously didn't check.

Re: pics of the beast so far! (September Update)
I take my hat off to you for posting those roof lining pics! I think I would have burnt them lol! Did you take the roof lining out to cover it or do it in situ? Everything else looks great, top job. I like the mud flaps, I think they look good on the darker cars so am tempted. Do you have to drill a...

Re: Xenon retrofit - assistance required
Can you swap the bulb/ballasts over from side to side and see if the problem swaps over? This will obviously pinpoint the problem... Any chance of a full write up & list of what is required? Were Xenons available from the launch and just rarely ticked? Or was the option (and pre-wiring) only ava...

Take a look on eBay. Search for Megane Trim or Interior trim etc. I've replaced a few worn bits this way.

I think we are in agreement that the manufacturers service (quality & interval) leave a lot to be desired.

Re: Renault service
I just felt that for a 18k mile service intervals it needed more than just oil change to keep the engine healthy. I don't have my service book to hand so am not sure when the air filter should be changed, but in reality, oil, oil filter and air filter should be changed I would have thought? So you ...

Re: Renault service
Renault said it was stuck... I imagine it had been overtightened and the work experience kid they probably let loose on my car didn't have the strength to undo it because the indy said it was tight, but not too bad it risked sheering... It would have been budget oil, which as long as it meets the re...
