Re: DPF/FAP Removal
Hey bobada, I know there are some companies that are offering to just remove the dpf off the ecu but in my opinion that's one of the worst things you can do! Especially if your gonna have it remapped. The fault (the dpf being clogged) will still exist the error message will just not be displayed. If...

Re: DPF/FAP Removal
I've had mine removed. I'm in two minds about it as there are both benefits and disadvantages Performance wise I didn't notice much difference, think you only gain 5hp if that. Like you I got mine removed due to constantly having to regenerate the soot filter and Renault charging close to £100 to do...

Sorry dan forgot to say yeah I drilled into the body work to attach them but I believe they do some mud flap clips to Incase you don't wanna drill. Lol I'll never do anything like that again eddie it was so frustrating! Annoying thing is I reckon it would have looked pretty damn good if it had worked.

Re: pics of the beast so far! (September Update)
Updated my post with photos at the top of this page but also done a mod that i didnt include in it. It went completely wrong and cost a bomb. I wanted to sort out my roof lining so after covering it in 7L of PVA tried covering it in carbon wrap which was a complete disaster. Then I tried wrapping it...

Re: Megane 1.9dci advice?
Hi There I have a 1.9 which was the DPF version and learnt the hard way with massive repair bills. I eventually ended up paying to have it removed. So If you are going to be using it in traffic first and foremost make sure it is a non dpf version you get. The DPF clogs up easily and this is more so ...
