Clicking on startup
When I start the car I get a constant clicking for about 10 seconds from behind the drivers side dashboard. It also Does it when I hit the recirculation button. I've read of this problem on mark one Meganes but has anyone had this with the mark two? I think it's definitely a vent flap having problem...

Re: Bl@~&y Hands Free!
I'll try driving it round the block tomorrow without the key and check for messages!
I did confirm you can't use the locking buttons without the keycard present though.

Bl@~&y Hands Free!
Grrr I love hands free entry but found out the hard way today about a nasty scenario... I drove with the wife to a small village where I had some things to do. I get out she gets in the drivers seat and drives off to the next town. I then get a call when she gets there and parks up. She then realise...

Re: Electric door mirror adjustment switch
Doh! I've been putting the switch to the zero

mirror symbol!
Should have RTFM more carefully
Thanks for pointing out my idiocy, my mirrors
now fold

Electric door mirror adjustment switch
I have a Privilege with electric mirrors which work fine. My mirror adjustment switch has a symbol for folding the mirrors on it in the six o'clock position, but the mirrors don't seem to fold. Is this a standard symbol on all mirror adjustment switches wether folding mirrors are fitted or not? I'm ...

Re: Dialogys DVDs for sale.
If you give me the model codes and an example of where it might be wrong I can take a look?
Re: typical?
You can always gloat over the amount of depreciation you've saved by buying a 2 year old
car though!
car though!

Re: Dialogys DVDs for sale.
Once I managed to get my car codes from the door label and entered them in the
software it was all good!
I can recommend this software too. Very detailed and informative.

Parking Sensors - a guide to fitting
I find reversing tricky after buying my megane CC so bought some rear parking sensors on ebay for £25. These have four sensors that connect to a control module fitted in the boot. This module has a wireless connection to the beeper and display in the car. This plugs into the accessory socket or can ...

Could have saved myself a lot of masking I I'd known they'd unclip!
How do they look after painting and re-fitting?

Re: CC Prospective Buyer
Thanks Chris. Renault want £580 for the belts and water pump fitted. Local independant is £350. Renault parts quote was £280. I'll probably get genuine parts and get the local to fit them. I didn't realise there was a special coolant and not an antifreeze/water mix. I'll look up your section about g...

Re: Painted Bumpers
Hi again, Here's some pics of how I prepared the front bumper. I didn't try to get the bumper bits off as I thought you needed to remove the whole bumper and didn't want to risk marking the plastics. https://img841.imageshack.us/img841/1092/maskz.jpg First off I washed the car! I then used white spi...

Painted Bumpers
I've just bought my black Megane CC but didn'tlike the grey bumper bits.
So I bought some black bumper spray to make them the same colour as
the car. Here's a pic of the front. Still have the back to do..
