How do i repair stone chips?

First make sure you have the correct touch-up paint from your dealer by quoting the paint code for your car.

This can be obtained by Lookin on the Drivers side B pillar, you will see the Oval Vin plate... the paint code is the left hand number on the second row down from top.. Should begin NV*** (*** is the 3 digit code)

To actually repair you stone chips you will need:-

a) Meths
b) A toothpic or sharpened matchstick
c) Toothpaste
d) 2 clean cloths
e) Touch-up paint!
f) Milk bottle top

To repair the chips:-

1) Clean the area around the chip with meths and dry with a clean cloth.
2) Shake your touch up paint and tip a small amount into the milk bottle top.
3) Apply a small amount of the paint to the stone chip using the toothpic until the paint is a little bit higher than the original paint work. Leave to dry.
4) Repeat step 3 again
5) Once dry apply a small amount of toothpaste to a cloth and gently rub down the paint until it is the same level as the rest of the surrounding area.
6) Repead steps 3-5 if neccessary.
