Alpine Stalk Controls and Slow responce

Hi,

I am an owner of Megane II 1.6 Ph1 - 3doors.

I have had an Tuner list unit and i replaced it with my old car's unit: Alpine 9853

I used also the KCE-940B RE adapter from alpine.
the problems are 2:
1. the rolling control changes folders and not tracks
2. it is slow on responce and erratic.

Do you have any better option for faster responce or even less erratic (and folder prob?)

I have found 1 option the newer stalk adapter APF-D101RE or using an Connects2 but i do not know which is better.
