Hey I'm looking for some help deciding on new speakers for front and rear in my megane 1.9dci 2006. I think they are 165mm in the front and 130mm in the back. Am I correct?
Can anyone recommend any? im looking at the Pioneer TS-Q131C for front, any recommendations for rear?
thanks.

Re: Speaker recommendation.
Thanks for the tip but I wouldn't expect any stock speakers to be as good as Pioneers. I don't know anything about car audio but I know about sound as I am a studio engineer. Just finished fitting the front speakers, had trouble putting the drivers side tweeter in as the damn steering wheel is in the way and didn't realize they had to go in a certain way haha, but done now and sounding good. Now just got to wait for next pay day to get rear... then sub and amp... any recommendations for sub and amp?

Re: Speaker recommendation.
If you want to add bass and not extra speakers, your best bet is an active sub. I can highly recommend an EDGE 10" active enclosure. The bass is very strong and crystal clear.
I have heard good things about the 12" aswell but those are trim rattlers which I didn't want.

Re: Speaker recommendation.
Hello guys, I was going through the website in search of better speakers for my Megane 1.5 dci 2007 (January).... but came to know about Edge Street ED Bass 10 Active(best thing is inbuilt sub).... Just want to know will it fit without major modifications. Are there any instructions available somewhere. I got company fitted "update list" + renault multifunctional tunepoint, will Edge sub work?
Please advice....

Re: Speaker recommendation.
it should fit without any major mods, i managed to get a 4 gauge wiring kit through the grommet at the front, as for the post before the front and rears are 13cm speakers. just need to cut the plastic out from where the speakers sits to allow the magnet to fit. components are the best bet for the front, bit more of a woring job as you need to put the crossovers in but its all fitted behind the head unit for me.

i could name you about 3 stock ones and about 10 undernamed aftermarket ones for a 7th the price of pioneers
Can you name them please? Will they sound as good, and will they be as easy to fit? Thanks in advance.

are the ts-e130ci set a straight swap as well? I just quickly installed the ts-q130c set into the front of my megane in under 10 mins. Sounding so much better. NEED MORE!!!

Re: Speaker recommendation.
Would these be suitable to fit in the back?
https://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/pioneer- ... 15141.html
Would 3 way in the back compliment the 2 way in the front?
bearing in mind that I have the ts-q131c in front.
