Re: Megane RS suspension on a regular megane 2
I missed this post.
It will fit as is. The blot holes are in the same place...
For the right price you wont be upset.
Even the early 225's had quality dampers.
On a side note, you pair talk some shite!

I only have one question...
Would it be ok to change only the springs or is it better to change the whole suspention as you see it on the picture.
Tnx for the anwser
cheers Matej

Re: Megane RS suspension on a regular megane 2
yeah sure i wiil. But I`m going to change the suspention in about 20th of march becouse I have my paycheck in 15th of march. First i have to slip on my summer tyres after that comes the rest.
Re: Megane RS suspension on a regular megane 2
IT WILL NOT FIT UNLESS YOU GOT THE UPRIGHT PART.

when you change the upright part , you have to get the HUB , so , the disc must be also changed and the calipers.
I had 1.6, and changed it to 2.0 136 HP with completely suspension of RS, all must be changed, this is definitely.

I'm not sure about the rear suspension either. Especially the shocks. The top mounting bit is a bit thicker in RS version.

The shocks never fit alone....front and rear .
I have just made this conversion since two months ago.
The wishbones are also different.

Re: Megane RS suspension on a regular megane 2
hi all
i think the only problem will be the diameter of the strut. more powerful cars have larger diameter struts for the extra stress they take.
a 2.0 dci might have the same diameter as diesels tend to have stronger parts.
if you have to change your hubs your talking proper money as someone has said before, your then into disc's calipers, lower arms, 5 stud wheels.
i think your best to just get a after market set of springs.
just a personal question, have you driven a lowered megane. a very rattley experience. i put my standard springs back on and sold my lowered ones. the standard springs are very good at there job,
good luck which ever you decide
